MV Council Approves next section to bid.

Mountain View City Council approved the design and specifications for the next stretch of Stevens Creek Trail at their 24 June 2008 meeting. They also approved it to go to bid with an overall budget of $2,074,000.00, of which $1,590,000.00 is the engineer's estimated construction cost - the difference is contingency, inspections, management, and administration. Reference for this project is # 08-37. Bids are expected to be opened in late July. Construction is planned to begin in early September. Completion is to be substantially completed by late May 2009.
