Friends of Stevens Creek Trail
CALIFORNIA TRAILS DAY CELEBRATION

This year, Friends of Stevens Creek Trail is expanding our work efforts to do projects in both of the cities active with the Stevens Creek Trail: Mountain View and Cupertino.

1) California Trail Day and Earth Day on Stevens Creek Trail

When:	Saturday, April 20 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM
Where:	Central Ave., Mountain View
Public Transit:	VTA and CalTrain Station at Evelyn Avenue. Volunteers are also encouraged to use the Stevens Creek Trail to get to the event location.
Activity:	Volunteers will be involved in activities that include planting of native trees and shrubs along the trail, creek clean-up along the Stevens Creek corridor, and painting projects such as fence painting.
Sponsoring Organization:	Friends of Stevens Creek Trail in collaboration with the City of Mountain View, and Synopsys "Green Team"
Volunteers must sign-up prior to the event. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.

2) Tree Planting Work Day at Blackberry Farm Park

When:	Saturday, April 27th 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM
Where:	Blackberry Farm Park 21975 San Fernando Ave, Cupertino
Activity:	Volunteers will be involved in activities that include planting of native trees and shrubs and landscaping along the Stevens Creek corridor and other areas throughout the park.
Sponsoring Organization:	Friends of Stevens Creek Trail in collaboration with the City of Cupertino.
Volunteers must sign-up prior to the event. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
