The Friends of Stevens Creek Trail and the City of Mountain View had their annual Trail Work Day / Stevens Creek Clean-up Day on Saturday, April 17th in 2004.

Volunteers worked in 3 groups along the creek from just north of highway 101, south to Central Expressway and collected many bags of trash and interesting objects. They had to occassionally hide or brave out brief showers which seem all too common on these trail work days the past few years. Fortunately, it was dry at the end when all enjoyed a lunch of yummy pizza, compliments of Tony & Alba's Pizza in Mountain View.
