VTA 2016 Bikeways Map - Santa Clara County For the past several years, Friends of Stevens Creek Trail has picked up the tab on printing of the Santa Clara Countywide Bikeways Map. We think this is such a valuable tool for cyclists that it is worth us paying for it, to insure everyone can get a copy - and we get a little spot for Stevens Creek Trail map on the back. This received a full update in 2016. Stevens Creek Trail is shown on the Mountain View(A) and Cupertino(D) tiles of the map and the Sunnyvale(B) tile will help with connections to the east. San Francisco Bay Trail This site for the planned 500-Mile shoreline trail around the bay features Maps and Virtual tours, as well as access information Bay Area Ridge Trail Council The Bay Area Ridge Trail already has over 350 miles of trail open to hikers, equestrians, and cyclists. Their site features an interactive map and lists their many events and ways to support the trail. Guadalupe River Trail is a part of San Jose Parks system of Trails maps; access information Los Gatos - Blossom Hill Trails A user created Google map of trails around the Sierra Azul area. Santa Clara Valley Water District Click for the Lower Peninsula, including Stevens Creek, Watershed Information and Projects. Access technical information like real time reservoir levels and stream flow rates from this starting point, including graphs of the past. Creek Connections Action Group is a group run by the Santa Clara Valley Water District that sponsors the National River Cleanup Days in May and September. Elisha Stevens Plaque at Blackberry Golf parking lot E Clampus Vitus Mountain Charlie No. 1850 is a local history preservation group in San Jose who puts up plaques to honor people and locations. This one isn't far from where the trail meets Stevens Creek Blvd., about 100yds east. Stevens & Permanente Creeks Watershed Council The SPCWC mission was to engage the community in wise stewardship of our watershed, furthering the protection, restoration, and community appreciation of creeks and associated habitats. SPCWC was merged into Acterra around 2008 and much of their function was later spun off into Grassroots Ecology.
